SUMMARY:Cooking & serving dinner for Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN)
DESCRIPTION:Adath Israel Congregation sponsors three Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) host weeks each year. \nThe next host week is May 19-26\, 2019.  Sisterhood will participate by cooking and serving dinner for our IHN families on Wednesday\, May 22. \nTo volunteer\, please contact Pam Meyers at (513) 733-3649 or email her at psmeyers73@gmail.com.  The shift is 3:45 – 6:30 p.m. \nThe synagogue also is seeking volunteers for other tasks ranging from Evening Host to laundry. \n  \nBackground on IHN: \nThe mission of IHN is to provide homeless families with emergency shelter and hospitality through Cincinnati’s faith communities and to work with families to find and retain stable housing. IHN is one of the few places where single fathers and fathers in two parent households are invited to stay alongside their family. \nIHN partners with local churches and synagogues to provide dinner\, evening activities/crafts\, overnight shelter\, breakfast and a packed lunch (for the following day) for IHN families. \nFor more information on IHN\, please visit http://www.ihncincinnati.org/
