A celebration of chocolate and Gilda Schwartz, our 5780 Torah Fund Woman of Achievement.

This event is unique in that it comes in two parts. We hope you can participate in both!

Part 1: Morning pickup of a Dessert Treat Box and a sealed beverage. The contents of the box (which includes chocolate) are to be sampled during the second part of the event, or enjoyed on your own.

When: Sunday morning, September 13, from 9 a.m. until Noon
Where: Parking lot of Adath Israel at the marked Sisterhood station (contactless pickup)
Who:  Free to paid up Sisterhood members (please send in your dues payment)
Why:  To provide you with refreshments to partake during the evening celebration (see Part 2 below)
Donations: During the pick, please consider dropping off gently used bras and pet supplies for Sisterhood’s Social Action programs. Click here for more info…

Part 2: Evening celebration via Zoom featuring a guided chocolate tasting with the Maverick Chocolate Company. A drawing will be held for a tallit and a beaded kippah.

When: Sunday evening, September 13 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Where: Online on your own computer or other device, via Zoom
Who: Free to paid up Sisterhood members (keep an eye out for the dues notice)
Why: To reunite after summer and to honor Gilda Schwartz (and chocolate, too)
