Virtual Tour of Jewish Paris (Kickoff of 2022 Torah Fund Campaign)

Join us on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. for a virtual tour highlighting the Jewish history and sights of Paris.
This event is the kickoff for Adath Israel Sisterhood’s 2022 Torah Fund campaign to support Conservative Jewish seminaries.
Registration and a donation to the Torah Fund Campaign are required for this event.
ABOUT THE EVENT
Learn about the history of the Jewish community in Paris with tour guide Karen Reb Rudel, owner and founder of Sight Seeker’s Delight. Sights you will see on the virtual tour include:
- Le Marais: main Jewish neighborhood in Paris
- Place des Vosges
- Hotel de Sully
- Famous synagogue of Hector Guimard
- Oldest synagogue in Paris
- Musée Carnavalet (exterior)
- SHOAH Holocaust Memorial & Museum

COST
The cost to attend the virtual Paris event is a minimum gift of $18/person to the Torah Fund Campaign. Additional donations are welcome in multiples of Chai (see Levels of Giving below).
Donations to Torah Fund should be made directly to the Jewish Theological Seminary website.

$180 – * The Louvre
$300 – * Eiffel Tower
*Due to COVID-19, the 2022 pin is the same as last years, B’Yachad (Together). New donations of $180 or more will receive the pin. If you already received the pin, you can donate at the next level of giving to receive the same pin with a pearl insert.

TORAH FUND CAMPAIGN
The Torah Fund Campaign, sponsored by the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism (WLCJ), is celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2022. The campaign is an annual fundraiser for Conservative Jewish seminaries across the world. For more information, please visit the Torah Fund website.
