Join Sisterhood and other fellow congregants for a community service day.

There are several Sisterhood-sponsored events this year, including:

• 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Walk-a-Thon to Stomp Out Childhood Poverty; register at 8:30 a.m. Minimum donation is $18 per person or $36 per family. Walk will be completed in Amberley Village area.

• 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Warm-Up America Blankets. Sew together small crocheted or knitted rectangles to create afghan blankets for the Lighthouse Youth Shelter.

• 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Cook meals for Caracole House (AIDS patients) and Halom House (disabled Jewish adults).
